Food was very tasty and they asked about allergens. We&#39;re very helpful to offer gluten free options. Good choices on the menu. Service was a bit slow but it was a busy night. Would visit again and recommend.

Loved this little restaurant in the heart of Lille. Warm ambience, delicious cuisine and delightful staff.

Being able to sit outside as it was a warm,  sunny day.Outside seating was opposite  the cathedral. Good food and they were able to accommodate our friend&rsquo;s allergies. We had a main dish and dessert each. Nice bespoke cocktails eg &lsquo;  Le General &lsquo; with choice of spirits. Nice waiter .

The food was excellent. Amazing flavours with exceptional presentation. The wait staff were very attentive. I will definitely return when next in Lille. Highly recommend.

Nice restaurant in the hotel, menu dinner was nice and worth the money.  On a Saturday evening they had a person playing piano that added to the atmosphere

After 10 times, still the best restaurant in Lille!Verry good food, verry nice presented, good ambience.And the staff is verry friendly to all people.

The staff is very pleasant and hard working, the restaurant was quite busy. We enjoyed the ambiance. Both starters, pumpkin soup and pasta, were excellent. Also both mains and the chocolate desert. For the Fontainbleu desert I felt there was a bit too much cheese&hellip; In principle all dishes were on the large side. We would like to return!

Really nice evening in a beautiful building.  Good food, friendly service and excellent choice of drinks. Would definitely return if in Lille.

Cosy restaurant with great menu and ambiance. Staff is kind and friendly. It&rsquo;s just steps from Lille&rsquo;s Grand Place but it&rsquo;s far from being a tourist trap.

Having made a very last minute reservation for one, I arrived at the restaurant at 19:00 on Friday 28 July and was shown a table at the rear, from where you could see the chef at work.I was the first to arrive, but after some 30 minutes the restaurant, which is small and cosy, was already more than half full and when I had finished my main course, every table was taken..The food was delicious. As a starter I had  pieces of salmon fillet with spinach and spiced cream, nicely presented, and a coconut naan, both very tasty. My main was a vegetarian dish with aubergine, which, although it did not look as attractive as the starter, was also very good. It was served with basmati rice. For dessert I chose the &quot;th&eacute; gourmand&quot;, consisting of a cup of any tea from the menu, accompanied by four mini-desserts (for those who find it hard to choose).I cannot speak for any of the drinks on the menu: as it was a hot day, I ordered a large bottle of sparkling water to go with the food.I was very happy with my choice of restaurant and will certainly book a table at this place again, next time I visit Lille.One more thing: when I left, people were (still) waiting outside the restaurant to get a table. Always a good sign.

Excellent food and unusual tastes and combinations . Very friendly waiter. Lovely place to have a dinner. Would recommend going here for a dinner.
